Planting Plans

Planting plans are blunt and straight to the point. They’re designed for the person digging the holes to plant the plants to get it perfect. Each plant is labelled with a four character code  to simplify the long botanical names and the key is provided in the plant schedule. Plants are drawn at their adult size. For shrubs this means about two to five years growth but for trees it is about their 10 year size. The reality is, shrubs and trees often have the potential to grow much bigger but people also have the potential to keep shrubs and trees to the size and shape they want with the use of sharp tools.
